Meet The Director

David Hill FCCA

David initially trained with Moores Rowland (later to merge with BDO Stoy Hayward) in Walsall between 1985 and 1993 and gained an excellent background to all manner of businesses whilst receiving professional training. Having obtained the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification David left Moores Rowland, as an accounts senior, before moving to a smaller local firm in Sutton Coldfield to obtain a wider variety of practical experience and more direct client contact.

After having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997, David then made the decision to set up Hill Talbot Limited in 2002 with a colleague until taking on the practice solely from September 2022.

Having moved from Walsall to live in Tamworth in 1997 David enjoys the regular contact with his clients which the size of the practice allows. Outside of work David still enjoys golf, scuba diving and riding his motorcycle, as well as socialising with family and friends.
